The deadliest poison of all!
It just doesn’t kill you!
We are living in a time where our lives are gripped under the claws of a deadly virus! Many of us haven’t been in such a tragic time before! We all have lost our loved ones, we all have suffered the pain!
In an attempt to write my first piece of writing in years, I realized that something had always kept me from writing. And to my wonder, I realized that it didn’t keep me from just writing only but anything that I wanted to do. I realized that it was a poison that I was dealing with ever since I can remember.
The poison was Fear! Fear is the deadliest poison of all, It kills your dreams! Fear can paralyze people by not allowing them to take the steps they need to take. Even a small task can seem like an Everest to climb!
Remedy to fight the poison!
I have learned that no matter how deadly this poison is, it can be fought with a single remedy: Action! The only thing this poison stops you from doing is to take the action to achieve your goal or to fulfill a task, yet ‘action’ itself is the most effective remedy against this ‘poison’.
Action sets you in motion! One step at a time and it won’t be long when you’d look back and realize that you have come a long way from where you started. It helps you build confidence. If you can take one step, you can take another. And no matter if you ‘fail and fall’ in your journey ahead, you will be assured that all you need is one dose of ‘action’ and you will be again on your feet!
This is my first post here on Medium. The post that I have been dreading to write for last so many months. I always thought of planning and making it a perfect one but I have been ‘planning’ on doing that for years! I wasn’t even able to write a single sentence because of the ‘poison’ that was killing my dream. But I am glad that I took the ‘remedy’ of action and here I am!
